This is a written service of worship for the Community Universalist Church.
If you wish, you can use this service either by yourself, with your family or friends. You can follow it as written, or change it as you feel is appropriate and meaningful.
If in a group, any person can read any part of this service. Rubrics (in red) and Headings are not intended to be read.
Some Suggestions:
Candle: some people like to incorporate a candle into their worship. One suggestion is to light the candle at the start of the service, then put it out at the end.
Gestures: some people come from Christian traditions which incorporate gestures into worship, such as crossing yourself.
Sounds: some people like to mark transitions in the service by quietly ringing a small gong or bell.
